Please check your emails.

What are they?

In partnership with Shakespeare’s Globe we’ll be hosting a series of in-person socially distanced Freelancer Spa Sessions at The Globe Theatre in London.

These FREE two hour sessions will be a chance to get back in touch with your body, your breath and refresh your mind with facilitation from the FMTW team.

When are they?

The next four Freelancer Spa Sessions are taking place in November.

Thursday 5 November

10am – 12.15pm & 12.30pm – 2.45pm.

Tuesday 10 November

10am – 12.15pm & 12.30pm – 2.45pm.

Can I go?

Any Freelance Theatre Professional can attend.

There are limited places (20 per session) and so we are opening a ballot to attend. Please apply below and we will let you know if you have a place by 6pm on Friday 30 October.

We hope to run more sessions in the future – watch this space!

What about the rest of the UK?

We want to reach our freelance community across all areas of the UK, not just in London, so we’re in the process of organising Spa sessions in other areas and hope to announce dates and locations soon.

If you’d like to take the lead on a Spa day at your local theatre or venue, or you are, or know of a venue that would like to host a Freelancers Spa event we’d love to hear from you.

NEXT SPA SESSIONS - NOVEMBER 5th & 10th

Shakespeare’s Globe

Check In

We’ll start off with saying hello and getting to know each other a little bit, whilst taking time to settle in to the space and find our physically distanced feet in the Yard.

Movement

Then we’ll move into a gentle movement session. Aimed at all levels and taught in a distanced way, this will be an opportunity to check in with your body and breath, and to re-connect with yourself in a physical space.

Voice

With the voice session we continue to touch base with how you’re breathing and communicating. Generating resonant sound in the head and body is a wonderful way to connect with self, and can both empower and relax us at the same time.

Refresh

The final part of the session will be a guided coaching session, finding small goals and developing practical strategies to work towards them in the future.
