Major National Incidents
We want to reassure our members that in the case of any major incident we have arrangements in place including a cascade of information so that you will be able to instruct your teams accordingly.you can download here and which you may also find of use.
For example, in the event of the death of a Senior Royal, SOLT and UK Theatre will be the main point of contact with the appropriate government agencies as to the protocol for theatres to follow. Under agreed procedures, we will issue clear instructions for theatres which will vary slightly dependent on the time and circumstances. You will be able to share this information with the appropriate parties. Similar arrangements would apply for other incidents. Please ensure you have an internal communication tree set up for your organisation and a strategy in place if this information comes out of operating hours and the appropriate contacts are shared with the CEO Office if you are a SOLT member.
