Performing Arts Guidance update
Section 1.5 of the performing arts guidance has been updated with details about how contact tracing will be implemented in venues as they reopen. Every customer or visitor will now be required to scan the NHS QR code using their NHS COVID-19 app or provide their name and contact details, not just the lead member of a group. This is to ensure everyone receives the necessary public health advice in a timely manner. This is being implemented across all sectors and is centralised. You can read the full guidance here.

pointOne & Indigo Ltd webinar: Coming Back to Theatre – Prioritising the Audience Experience – Wednesday 21 April, 11am – 11.45am
You can register here for Indigo Ltd and pointOne’s latest webinar where they will present the key findings from a piece of joint cultural audience sentiment research, looking at what the most important things will be for cultural audiences when they return to venues.
We’ll consider the practical and technical measures organisations can put in place to ensure audiences have a brilliant first experience back at the theatre and hear from industry professionals about their plans for reopening.
The Coming Back to Theatre survey was conducted in March 2021 and gathered 4,000 responses from cultural attendees at seven venues within the UK.
This webinar is aimed at those responsible for the audience experience including Operations Directors, Box Office Managers and Front of House teams.
Please continue to share press releases and reopening information with email@example.com to be included in our 2021 article, as we are sharing this information with the GLA, BIDs, and other relevant groups.
