    DIT Export Support Service
The Department for International Trade (DIT) launched the Export Support Service last Friday. This provides access to one-to-one advice via a new phone and online service. From queries around rules of origin, to guidance on recognising professional qualifications and entering new markets, the Export Support Service will provide a single point of contact.

    New Arts Minister at DCMS
Lord Parkinson of Whitley Bay has been appointed as Minister for Arts at DCMS. SOLT & UK Theatre have asked for a meeting with the new Minister so we can introduce him to the priorities of our members.

PERFORMANCE, RankinLIVE x West End Theatre
Further details were announced on Friday for our project with photographer Rankin. Produced in partnership with the Mayor of London as part of the #BackOnStage campaign, the project includes an ambitious programme of live shoots, a city-wide exhibition, ground-breaking interviews, a book launch and a charity auction – all in celebration of the capital’s world-leading theatre industry and its pandemic recovery, and in support of Theatre Artists Fund and London youth homelessness charities.

There have been 30 pieces of press coverage so far with an estimated 474k online views. Coverage includes The Telegraph, The Herald, Sunday Express, Yahoo, and Time Out.

You can read more and check out the exclusive first shots from the project here.

    E-marketing
Our e-marketing calendar is extremely busy at the moment and will continue to be in the run up to Christmas, so if you’d like to book in an email or newsletter slot to advertise your show, we recommend doing so as early as possible! For bookings or to request prices and e-marketing stats, contact frankie@soltukt.co.uk or alex@soltukt.co.uk

Our best engagement rates are a result of:

    • Promoting a special offer
    • Targeted data (example here)
    • Running a competition (example here)
    • ‘Shows opening’ / ‘Shows to see’ emails highlighting low prices (example here)
    • ‘On sale now’ / ‘Last chance to see’ messaging (example here)

To have access to most of the above, you need to be selling with Official London Theatre.

    Official London Theatre YouTube channel
We have nearly 180,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel and our views and engagement are continuing to rise after the buzz of West End LIVE (with videos from the event at nearly 2 million views already), making it a great time to maximise our reach. Exclusive content such as backstage vlogs are performing very successfully, reaching on average 13,000 views and a high level of engagement. If you would like to chat about any videos, please email aemelia@soltukt.co.uk.
