Love Your Local Theatre UK-wide promotion is now live
On Tuesday 1 February we announced the Love Your Local Theatre promotion, a UK-wide 2-for-1 ticket offer for National Lottery players – which we believe to be the first UK-wide consumer ticket promotion UK Theatre has ever run. Thanks to funding of up to £2 million from the National Lottery, provided to assist theatres with their post-pandemic recovery, over 100 UK Theatre member theatres are participating in the promotion, selling over 150,000 tickets subsidised by the National Lottery for performances in March. UK Theatre is running the campaign, distributing the Lottery funds, and coordinating between all the theatres. Kimberley Walsh has been appointed by the National Lottery to be a spokesperson for the campaign, and over the coming days, she is undertaking a media blitz, hopefully culminating in a national TV slot next Tuesday.Find participating venues here.
