Building on research published in 2021, a new report, Funding for Arts and Culture: an overview of data 2019–22, shows the scale of investment into the arts and cultural sector in the UK from Trusts and Foundations during the pandemic.
The report was commissioned by The Arts Funders Group; a group of independent Trusts and Foundations who meet regularly to share intelligence and shape collective action. The Group is part of the ACF Funders’ Collaborative Hub.
The report looks at more than 2,600 grants records from 18 Trusts and Foundations between April 2020 and March 2022 to understand how grant-making in the arts and culture sector responded to, and was impacted by, the Covid-19 pandemic.
