  • Big Freelancer Survey
    • Survey will go out on January 17th
    • It’s on typeform
    • Will be open for a month
    • How do we ensure that it gets to the people who we need to respond
      • Key question is how do we reach people who have left the industry?
      • AAPTLE is still a place where people stay in contact so a good place to promote the survey

Action Item: Paul to catch Kelsie up on any access work needed?

  • There’s some questions about the movement of talent out of London to different parts of the country
  • AAPTLE
    • Last meeting was bigger
    • There’s a need for some administrative support and we should have a conversation with AAPTLE about if we can offer support [please correct me, my internet was a bit spotty here]

Action Item: Peter to discuss administrative support with Josie and Al in the New Year?

  • A conversation is happening about making job listings free to access and therefore more equitable

  • MP’s Letter
    • We need to both provide the MP’s letter and need to make our wellbeing offer really clear
    • We issue this as an open letter to the government as well as an MP’s letter
    • We generally agree to the edits, but want to keep the paragraph in that Paule suggested cutting and make a couple of other tweaks

Action Item: Nikki will take this letter to some groups to generate signage

Action Item: Paul will take the letter to Al to put it out on the socials and the website today

  • ACE Symposium (Vicki)
    • We need to organize a meeting early in January for everyone who wants to be involved somehow
    • Because this is a six month project we’ll need to think carefully about how we offer flexibility
    • At the end of January the partnership group needs to go back to ACE and give them the outline
    • Josie will go to the meetings as a continuity person
    • Working group will feed back to Friday meetings

Action Item: Vicki will ask Al to create a channel on Slack about the ACE Symposium

Action Item: Vicki (with Jake’s help) will send a doodle poll for a meeting in early January

Action Item: Vicki will let AAPTLE know on their slack and email AAPTLE about this
